Privacy Policy

PicGlide is a photo-delivery platform for wedding & event photographers. This policy explains what data we collect on our website (picglide.com) and how we use it. It covers our public pages; data you upload as a signed-in photographer, and photos shared through client galleries, are governed by your agreement with us as a customer.

Analytics on our public pages

On our public marketing pages — the home page, the download page, the login and sign-up pages, and this policy — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and which search terms or links bring people here). This helps us improve the product and our website.

This analytics is anonymous: we never send Google your name, email, or any account identity. Google sets a first-party cookie (_ga) holding a random identifier so returning visits can be told apart, and processes your IP address to estimate approximate location (Google does not store the IP). We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Google Analytics is not loaded on the photographer dashboard, on client galleries, or on export/download links. No information about signed-in photographers or the photos in a client gallery is ever sent to Google.

Cookies

The only cookie we set for analytics is Google's first-party _ga cookie described above. You can block or delete it in your browser settings; the site works normally without it. We also use functional storage strictly needed to keep you signed in when you use the app.

Your choices

You can opt out of analytics by using your browser's privacy controls, an ad/ tracking blocker, or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. If you have an account, you can ask us to access or delete your personal data by contacting us.

Retention & changes

Analytics data is retained by Google under Google Analytics' default retention settings; we don't keep a separate copy of it. We may update this policy from time to time — the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
